Below is a listing our our retail prescription services.

• Online Refills - Customers are able to request refills via the internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The pharmacy will process the refill request immediately during normal business hours. If a request is made during non-working hours, the pharmacy will process the request first thing in the morning of the next business day.
• Transfer prescriptions to Mina - Customers can transfer prescriptions to Mina Pharmacy using our online application. The pharmacy will process the transfer request within 24 hours.
• Refill Reminder Service - Upon a patient's request, you can add yourself to the refill request list. Every time a prescription is due for a refill, the pharmacist or technician will call the customer to get authorization before filling a medication.
• Delivery - If you live in O'ahu, Mina Hilo, and Mina Kona, we are able to deliver prescriptions and medical supplies to your front door, including free delivery to carehomes. Mina Pharmacy also makes deliveries to doctor's offices and clinics.
• Refill Request Authorization - If a prescription cannot be refilled, Mina Pharmacy will contact your physician to request a new prescription. Most doctor's offices request two to three business days for all requests. However, if a patient is out of medication, it is at the pharmacist's discretion to "loan out" enough medication until his or her doctor approves another refill.
• Flexible Payment Options - In addition to standard payment options, Mina Pharmacy also offers monthly billing -- offering you an option to be billed at the end of the month for all dispensed medications. Our billing system allows for account receivable payments to be processed through account-on-file payment agreement; ACH origination payments directly from the patient's personal accounts; and payments by check received through the mail. Patients can receive payment receipts for all transactions.
• Packaging - Upon request, a patient's prescriptions can be prepared in a bubble or blister pack instead of a traditional bottle. All bubble packs are labeled with the name of the patient and the doctor's instructions.
• Compounding Services - Our Mina location in Kailua-Kona is able to process and fill all coumpounds. If a prescription is needed on another island, they will have it delivered the next day.
• Prior Authorization Requests - Your health plan may require you to obtain prior authorization before it chooses to pay for a particular medication. If that is the case, we will contact the insurance company and coordinate with the doctor's office to expedite the prescription.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) - Medication therapy management is a partnership between Mina Pharmacy pharmacists, the patient (or caregiver), and other health professionals to promote the safe and effective use of medications.
• Vaccination and Immunization - We offer vaccinations and immunizations for anyone older than 9-years-old, administered by Hawaii state-licensed nurses.
• e-Prescription Service - Mina Pharmacy, in partnership with your physician, offers e-Prescribing service. This service minimizes any mistakes that could occur by the doctor or pharmacy and can streamline the process.
• Blood Glucose Meter and Supply Services - Mina Pharmacy offers training, education, consultation, and repair services.
